Rebel Gallery in Hastings Old Town
is an independent art gallery
exhibiting the work of artist and photographer Jon Wilhelm (Huldrick)
and imaganist Suzanne Powell.
The gallery is located in George Street in the heart of the creative quarter of Hastings Old Town.
The gallery was founded in 2004 as "The Huldick Studio & Gallery" an exhibition space for Jon's successful range of limited edition prints of Hastings and the South of England.
In November 2011 the gallery changed it's name to Rebel Gallery and now exhibits original paintings in oil, acrylic and watercolour by Jon and Suzanne. It also provides visitors with an opportunity to meet and purchase work directly from the artists.
We hope you enjoy looking at our work and we look forward to seeing you in the gallery. There is always new work to be seen in a friendly atmosphere...

This months "photo of the month" was taken on Hastings Stade on a very stormy afternoon. I carefully positioned the camera so that the bright low sun was behind the wheelhouse. I weighted down the tripod against the wind and had to clear the lens filter between shots because of the salt spray.
